Description
A beautiful temple, built on the hill among the lush green forest, hosts the lord of wisdom, Ganesh. According to local lore, Peshvas paid an amount of Rs. One lakh to construct this temple. The idol of Lord Ganesh is special with ten hands. The temple surroundings are very pleasant, serene, and close to nature. A perennial water source is available on the temple premises.
Speciality
This idol of Lord Ganesha, symbolic of the protector, has 10 hands hence the name 'Dashbhuja'. According to local tells, this idol is made out of pure marble, carved in Kashmir, and then brought here. The 10 hands of Lord Ganesha are occupied by Trishul, Dhanushya, Gada, Chakra, Shankha, Parshu, Lotus, Broken tooth, Grain paddy, and Modak. This piece of art is an interesting and exciting sight.
